P0973LN  工業年月機作為中央控制單元，配有組態軟件，選用大屏幕實時監視界面，實現各控制點的動態顯示、數據修改、故障診斷、自動報警，還可顯示查詢歷史事件記錄，系統各主要部件累計運行時間，各裝置工藝流程圖，各裝置結構圖等。中央控制單元和下位機PLC之間采用串行通訊方式進行數據交換，通常距離在1000m以內選用485雙絞線通訊方式，較常距離可選用光纖通訊，更長距離也可選用無線通訊方式。下位機選用PLC控制，根據控制對象的多少，控制對象的范圍，可選用一臺或多臺PLC進行控制，PLC之間數據交換是利用內部鏈接寄存器，實現數據交換和共享。由于PLC對現場進實時監控具有很高的可靠性，且編程簡單、靈活，因此越來越受到人們重視。
